Real Doctors Create their Own Vaccine Shadow Advisory Panel
RFK Jr. The brain worm infected lawyer in charge of the US department of Health and Human Services recently testified that he thought no one should be taking medical advice from him.
He recently fired the entire US government volunteer panel, the Center for Disease Control’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, that for decades has provided advice to HHS and all of us regarding which vaccines we need and at what stages of our lives. Fired them all. And replaced them with vaccine and COVID skeptics. Because - we shouldn’t listen to them - they are merely spending our money and taking up space. So let’s not listen. (NBC)
Instead a group of actual doctors with a real interest in public health has self formed into a real advisory panel on vaccinations and they are dedicated to protecting the public’s health. These people actually paid attention in medical school and took the Hippocratic oath seriously.
The University of Minnesota's Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy (CIDRAP) has announced the steering committee members for its Vaccine Integrity Project, which was introduced last week. You can see who is on the board here.
The Vaccine Integrity Project is dedicated to safeguarding US vaccine use so that it remains grounded in the best available science, free from external influence, and focused on optimizing the protection of patients, families, and communities against vaccine-preventable diseases. It will supply reliable needed information to the public as opposed to the bobble heads at HHS’ Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.
Bleeding The Assets
My wife, Vokouhi, brought up a really good point I wanted to share with you. We have written over and over again how Private Equity Investment firms and commercial companies get ahold of medical facilities, like hospitals, and turn them into cash generating machines. They vertically integrate the facilities, make them pay rent where there often was none before, cut staff to the bare minimum, outsource functions, like the Emergency Department to the cheapest bidder and pay super high, way above market dividends to investors. When there is no money left they declare bankruptcy and leave communities in dire straits. These are often in rural areas where there is no other health care option. You can read a description here.
I bring this up because for years Republicans and tea party “so called” libertarians, wanted to cut out all social service programs and their plan was to get the government into such a weak financial position that they had no choice but to cancel those programs. Republicans are doing that now by cutting taxes so the government does not take in enough income to support those programs. Meanwhile Trump and his bobble heads are squeezing money out to themselves at a fantastic rate. His whole Big Ugly Murder Bill is a scheme to take money out of the government and give it to the riches 400 billionaires and leave the government unable to pay its bills.
(As an bribery aside he has created a crypto currency and is raking in a fortune from those who seek to offer him bribes. He has created a club in Washington D.C. where for $1M dues you can have access to Trump and his team.)
Don’t forget that about 13 million will lose healthcare and that between 30 and 200 people will die in every congressional district every year that Medicaid and ACA plans are denied.
Today the Senate is trying to decide when they will vote to screw over the public with this bill. At least one voice was raised in opposition.
Protest At the Senate
A protester was heard just now, Sunday June 29, 2025, on the Senate floor yelling: “How do you sleep at night Republicans?! Listen to the Democrats! You people are awful! You’re awful! These Medicaid cuts! You’re horrible!” Bravo. (H/T Chop Wood Carry Water)
Here is a list of the important points in the bill
There are about $1 trillion in cuts to Medicaid.
5% of Americans lose health insurance
51,000 will die each and every year when they lose access to a doctor and pharmacy from Medicaid and ACA cuts
It removes food assistance from 11.8 million Americans - about 25% of those that need it, including children.
ACTION
Call your Congressional representatives and senators and let them know those 4 points and urge them to reject the bill. Reach them here:
Or Text SIGN PXJXIL to 50409 (@Resistbot on Apple Messages, Messenger, Instagram, or Telegram) to send this message to your congressperson and senators -
“I am your constituent and I am horrified that Congress is getting ready to pass a budget that will punish so many to give tax breaks to the wealthiest Americans. Here are 4 of the points in the bill I find so offensive.
